The 2009 Element, revamped. The Element has been refined and restyled, but it’s still got the utility for lifestyles on the road and off. And for better road composure, the Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), helps balance braking forces and the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts the driver when a tire’s pressure reaches a significantly low level¹. All 2009 Element models are equipped with LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren) for passengers in the second row. The LATCH system provides two lower anchors and an upper tether anchor. When used with a compatible child seat, the LATCH system provides attachment points between the child seat and the vehicle seat.
