The Civic Sedan and the Civic Coupe are both available in DX, LX, and EX trims. The DX is the base model. It comes standard equipped with 15-inch steel wheels, automatic transmission and side/curtain airbags. The LX model is the next step up and offers some additional features such as 16-inch steel wheels, available manual transmission, and MP3 Player and USB port support as standard. The EX models offer the most features and amenities, upgrading to 16-inch alloy wheels and including a sunroof and six-channel audio system. Heated mirrors, heated seats, and leather interior are available in the EX-L trim. All coupe and sedan models come equipped with a 1.8 L 4-cylinder engine capable of 140 horsepower.
For a true driving enthusiast, the Civic Si offers all the upgrades of the EX model plus a more powerful 197 horsepower, 2.0 L 4-cylinder engine, manual transmission, and additional performance features like stability and traction control and 17-inch alloy wheels. The Si is available in both two-door (coupe) and four-door (sedan) models.
Finally, the Civic line boasts two of Honda’s popular alternative energy vehicles, the Civic Hybrid and the Civic GX. The 2011 Civic Hybrid uses continuously variable transmission and seamlessly powers both a 1.3 L 4-cylinder gasoline engine and the hybrid battery.
